I am paying to mail out these letters and it is very expensive. As you know, my opponent has the big money interests behind him and he has had 16 years of collecting campaign donations and he’s never had a challenger. Now to my luck, he has frittered a lot of it away on $350 lunches at the Maria Isabella Sheraton in Mexico City and taking jurors to lunch and spending money on his secretary, Amy Lujan’s, softball team. That would be the same secretary he gives a $40-$45,000 supplement to every year making her salary $85,000/year. That comes from your tax dollars. That’s right. Esparza has an $85,000 a year secretary who is a county employee.
